This child lives in a remote village in the Batticaloa District diagnosed with the above condition since early childhood and is on the waiting list for cardiac surgery at the Lady Ridgeway Children's Hospital-Colombo.

This condition needs urgent surgery. The surgery is for an external conduit to be placed in the heart.

UPDATE

With the help of doctors from LRH and TH-Batticaloa the surgery was done without any cost.

Dr Bala Canagasabey,Dr Perisalneris and theWorld Vision have contributed towards postop comfort and income generating project (Milking cows).
