AEDU-Sri Lanka (Trincomalle District) was formed in 2008 by a group of well-wishers.

AEDU – Trincomalle is now supporting 67 children in this district.

Violent conflict for over two decades and Boxing Day Tsunami of 2004 affected the people of Trincomalee adversely. Many people lost their lives, many became orphans, many became widows and many lost their livelihoods.

Due to repeated displacement and poverty many school children dropped out of school or frequently discontinued their school education.

To improve the lives of underprivileged children AEDU-Sri Lanka (Trincomalle District) is supporting 67 children who have lost the family's bread winners by providing financial assistances and closely monitoring their wellbeing.

Thousands of underprivileged children are desperately waiting for donors to change their lives.

Please help a child and instil hope where there is despair.
